Philippines
We experienced the Philippines as a tropical island country of beaches, local everyday life and strong contrasts with the modern city of Singapore.
The Philippines consists of thousands of islands, and our journey offered a warm and less predictable encounter with Southeast Asia. We combined it with Singapore and especially remember the contrast between tropical island life, local communities and the highly organised city we travelled from and returned to.
