North Macedonia was a central part of our Balkan journey, with mountain scenery, city life and an engaging encounter with the region’s history and cultures.
North Macedonia lies in the heart of the Balkans, surrounded by mountains and neighbours with closely connected histories. We travelled through on our journey with Albania and Kosovo and experienced a less touristy part of Europe with a distinct local identity and expansive scenery.
