Lithuania

Lithuania is the southernmost of the three Baltic countries. Together with Estonia and Latvia, the country has attracted masses of tourists since the fall of communism in the 1990s who wanted to experience the unique culture of the former Eastern Bloc up close. For better or worse, the country still bears the marks of the many years under the influence of the Soviet Union, but is both historically and culturally an interesting destination.
