Lesotho
We experienced Lesotho on our southern African road trip as a high mountain kingdom and a striking contrast to neighbouring South Africa.
Lesotho is a small kingdom entirely surrounded by South Africa and set at high altitude. On our journey through South Africa, Lesotho and Eswatini, we experienced a distinctive mountain society, vast scenery and a clear contrast with the more developed areas across the border.
