Kosovo
We experienced Kosovo on our Balkan road trip as a young country with visible recent history, local everyday life and relatively few foreign tourists.
Kosovo is a small, young country in the heart of the Balkans, where recent history remains highly visible. We visited on our journey through North Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo and especially remember feeling close to everyday local life in a region many travellers still pass by.
