Bahrain was a short stop on our Gulf journey, where the modern island state offered another perspective on the region’s rapid development and contrasts.
Bahrain is a small island state in the Persian Gulf, closely tied to the region’s trade and oil history. We visited during our Saudi Arabia and Gulf cruise journey; the stay was brief, but it offered another glimpse of the contrasts within the modern Gulf states.
